9K a year In collaboration with the IT system support teams is responsible for ensuring that the billing software supports compliant and efficient billing and collection; also reviews billing processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Acts as the primary liaison between the professional billing and IT support teams.
Oversees and follows-up on coding audits performed to monitor compliance with CPT, ICD-10, Avita, and payer guidelines and rules as well as government laws and regulations.
Identifies denial trends and resolves core issues.
Acts as the Professional Billing on-boarding liaison and educating professional billing, health services staff and physicians on payer changes and requirements.

M-F 8a - 4:
30pm IND1 Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous physician billing, coding, and/or denial resolution experience.
Demonstrates an excellent working knowledge of healthcare business office practices and procedures.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of billing software functionality and PC-based productivity tools (e.
g.
spreadsheets, word processing, email).
Ability to research, analyze and problem solve.
Excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to effectively establish priorities required.
Must project a mature, compassionate, customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor.
PREFERRED Advanced degree or active pursuit of advanced degree.
Coding certification, or active pursuit of certification, strongly preferred.
AAHAM or HFMA certification or active pursuit of certification.
Epic PB certification or programing experience.
Basic medical terminology skills necessary to read and interpret various clinical documentation strongly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
